Horse hide strop.
Well, it was looking around for a new horse hide strop and like most thing, I wondered if I could make one myself.
Well I did just that and it turn out pretty good. Nothing fancy, no bells and whistles... Just a straight forward strop made with my preferred leather for stropping, horse. 2.5" wide and about 16-17"'s of stropping area.
The good thing is I have a good bit left over, so if you want to try a horse hide strop and do it for about half the regular cost check the for sale section.

A couple vintage restores, a few custom restores & paddle strop
I had a pretty productive Sat. Hopefully yours was the same.
First couple are vintage restores, I just cleaned up the scales a bit on both.
5/8 Robeson Shuredge with hammer tang
5/8 Genco Gold Seal
The next few are custom restores I did
11/16 Joseph Rodgers, No 1 Stars and Cross Razor
Cocobolo scales with white acrylic wedge
6/8 Zeller Stevens
Jade G10 with red acrylic wedge
7/8 S.R. Droescher "Karbono"
Yellow G10 with red acrylic wedge
Lastly I squeezed in a paddle strop
The leather is 2.5" wide by 16.5" long.
I'm not a big paddle guy but I had the stuff around and decided to put one together.
