Brian's work is truly stunning. He made me this set of two razors with materials I sent him that I sourced from our family game farm in South Africa. I wanted something that would do justice to the memories of my late grandfather, and the times we spent together hunting and enjoying the big 5 game territories of Africa.
The wood in the scales is known as "spilati" wood by a local tribal language, and the wedges are of warthog tusk.
The box he made me is leadwood with warthog tusk inlays, and a piece of diamond shaped spilati wood on top.
The plaque states "Joubertshoop", and the GPS co-ordinates of the main camp on the land - 24°21'33"S 31°16'29"E.
Brian did this all the justice I could have asked for. Absolute masterpiece.
God I love te last pic of the twins I would love to have something of this quality and the damascus steel is amazing
